How much notice do you require for an order?
We require a minimum of 72 hours notice to place an order, however, this is subject to change depending on the diary at this time. The earlier you are able to order the better to ensure a diary slot.
I am collecting my cheesecake or having it delivered, what now?
Your cheesecake will have a collar around it, this is to protect it during transportation. Please keep this collar on and place your cheesecake straight in a cold fridge. Keep in the fridge until you are ready to display or eat. If collecting – please notify a member of staff that you are collecting an order and provide your name. Please ensure you drive extremely carefully – cheesecakes are very fragile!

Are your cheesecakes suitable for vegetarians?
Yes, all of our cheesecakes are suitable for vegetarians. We do not use gelatine in any of our products apart from our rocky road. On occasions jelly sweets and marshmallows are used as toppings – please check with a member of our staff.
Will my cheesecakes be frozen?
No! We do not freeze any of our products, everything is baked fresh the evening before - this is something we pride ourselves on.
Am I able to freeze my cheesecakes, brownies or blondies?
Yes, absolutely you can freeze your items! Please see below:-

Brownies and Blondies – 3 months (air-tight)
Can I change or cancel my order once it's been placed?
You are able to cancel or amend your order 48 hours prior to collection or delivery however, please note that deposits are non-refundable.
What’s the best way to cut a cheesecake?
If you have a deluxe cheesecake, we recommend removing the toppings first and then using a very sharp knife to cut a clean slice.
How long will my desserts last?
Your desserts will stay fresh providing you follow the below instructions:

Cheesecakes – 5-6 days REFRIGERATED
Custard slices, eclairs, fruit tarts, choux buns - 3 days REFRIGERATED
Mars slice – 1-2 days REFRIGERATED
Blondies – 3-4 days REFRIGERATED
Brownies and Cookies – 1-2 days AIR-TIGHT
Cupcakes – 1-2 days AIR-TIGHT
Cake Slices – 3-4 days AIR-TIGHT
Cookie Dough – 5-6 days REFRIGERATED (once cooked, please do not re-heat)
Do your cakes contain nuts?
We take great pride in the production of our products as our team is trained on food allergies and intolerances set by the Food Standards Agency.

Therefore, we take great care and seriousness to make sure you feel at ease consuming our products. Please consider we are a small business, we use shared equipment when in production, meaning that although cross-contamination is managed, it cannot be to a complete allergen-free level.

Mini Cheesecake – 1 person
Sharing Heart Cheesecake – 4-5 servings
8” Cheesecake – 8-10 servings
9.5” Cheesecake – 14-16 servings
Is there a minimum order?
In-store there is no minimum – you can buy one item or one hundred items
Delivery service – there is a minimum order of £15 plus delivery
Ordering online – there is a minimum order of 4 for any of the following items (mini cheesecakes, brownies, blondies, rocky road)
How secure is my information when I’m ordering?
Lilys Cheesecakes do not share your information with anyone, you may be added to our personal database for future mailing purposes.
If you do not wish to be added to this database, please let us know.

Our desserts are made on-site at our bakery in Newport, Gwent.

Yes, we ensure to use fresh, local dairy produce in our products.
Do you make wedding cakes?
Absolutely! Cheesecakes as an alternative to a traditional wedding cake are proving to be very popular.
Do I need to pay in full to order?
Yes, all orders will need payment in full when you confirm your order. When finalising your order online, you can pay via card.
Will I get a confirmation of my order?
Yes, once we have received your payment in full we will notify you via email that your order has been confirmed.
Do you cater to allergies and dietary requirements?
Absolutely, for any allergies or dietary requirements please contact us to discuss your custom order in more detail.
Do you use products with eggs in them?
A section of our products does contain eggs, please speak to a member of staff.

Why are there surcharges for certain bases and toppings?
We apply a small surcharge to some items, as they are considerably more for us to purchase.
Do you offer trade products or stock businesses?
Yes, please get in touch with us so we are able to send you a trade menu.

Not a problem! If you want an item or a flavour that you can not see, please get in touch with us and we will be happy to help you.
Is your shop operating as normal?
Yes, we are open as usual. We have made a few changes to comply with government guidelines during the COVID-19 pandemic. Social distancing applies in-store and when queuing outside, only one bubble in-store at any one time (excluding seating area), masks must also be worn in store.
